My pain management pro is wanting to try topical morphine for my creaky knees. Wondering if anyone out there is /has been using it . I'm currently taking oxycodone (percocet) about 3X 10mg a day but this is supposed to be longer lasting and not supposed to make me dizzy at all. I'm pluggin' along pretty well with this regimen ,but there's always a better way out there

TIA

Jorge I haven't heard anything about this so can't comment on it other than to say if your pain management physician is recommending it then go for it.
Personally I get the Synvisc injections about three times a year to keep mine going...

Been there and done that on the synvisc, i'm about due for a re-grease :-)
I figure i can try it and step back if it doesn't work .
tnx

Humm....

Haven't heard of a Topical MS.... except in a Mouthwash form for pts. with Oral or Esophageal cancer. Would be interesting to know how it works normally works on the CNS (Central Nervous System)

I am on Fentanyl transdermal patches... . and Morphine Oral Tabs ( breakthrough.)

Have they tried Lidocain Patches on the Joints to help "Numb" or relax the area? When I worked for a Oral Surg. (And I had this done myself) We used them on the TMJ joints for people with bad jaw pain due to problems in the joint or from Clenching or Bruxisim (grinding of the teeth)

Let me know how the MS patches work.... It might be something for me to look into to help with the C-spin nerve damage (Chronic intractable Pain)

Blessed Be
Willow
