Carried a CQC-7B-BTS every day for over 8 years here on the farm. Hard civilian use, could cut down a banana tree 12" plus if machete left in truck. Slice through soil to cut roots, serrations great for poly pipe or twine. Rock solid every day use.
Also on vacation, peace of mind if got surrounded by deranged hobos near Pike St Market.
One year ago I lost it ... somewhere here on the place. Big hole in my heart and pocket. Want to replace it but keep hoping it will turn up.
Have back ups to use but the obsession with that knife...

I'd recommend buying a cqc15 with the combo edge while you wait for your prodigal knife to show up. It will serve you well and you won't risk duplication should your 7B return home.
