Paint or Patina?

I would like to strip my Becker and do something with it because i dont want to leave it bare. My question is do you prefer paint or patinas and why? post pics if you can pls and thanks

My first question would be "why strip it and then paint it"? You may as well leave the original finish as it's much more durable than paint.

Second, I prefer a patina..... in the end any finish is worn away leaving a bare blade. I like the looks of a blade with a nice patina, and it willl get better as time goes on.

i was thinking of painting it to give it a different look then the rest and put my own twist on it

i vote patina it. They look great, they get better over time, and heck, It's fun putting a patina on it. After a month of use your paint will have been worn off and you'll be in the same boat again. just my 2 cents

Use it.

You could always get it duracoated or cerakoted because they are much more durable then spray paint
