Howdy all,

Just picked up a bag of paintballs at a garage sale. I found my old wrist-rocket slingshot that I had as a kid, bought and installed some new bands for it... and I'm ready to rock. So.... I found these at a garage sale, and thought them to be decent ammo.

So, I have questions: (before I start going crazy with these in the yard, don't want to piss off the wife TOO much...)
1. Are the shells of these things biodegradeable?
2. Does the paint wash off?
3. Are there more than one type/kind of paintballs? or are they all the same, just different colors?

Thanks in advance,
Mongo

all a paintball is, is colored fish oil. yes the shells are biodegradable and as far as the paint washing off it depends on the quality of the paintballs. lower quality will wash off with a little effort but higher end washes off quite easily. this is the reason most paintball fields wont let you bring your own paint. and there are most definitely different qualities. there is the low end walmart crap and there is very expensive paintballs. (the main reason of price difference is the size of the ball is more consistent with more expensive paint providing better fit to the barrel in turn providing better accuracy.

DDA2011 got it right, though some tend to stain slightly, but it is hard to tell because when I go usually I get hit a lot. Speedball means your going to get hit close range and quite a lot usually.

speedball is a lot of fun. I only play once when I go. Too many other good fields I like to play. I still get hit alot, or it seems so.
