I received this and it only came with the paperwork you see. Is there a way to find out the materials that this is made of?

Why don't you contact Painted Pony?

My guess would be jet and either mother of pearl or abalone.

I believe this is mother of pearl, black Jasper, and aluminum.

You have to have an item#, and I don't. I know it's MOP, Nickel Silver bolsters. The other material? I'll go with the Black Jet.

Sassafrass. At one time I had well over 100 knives by Michael Prater of Painted Pony Knives as well as over 100 by David and Brian Yellowhorse. I guarantee you it is black jet.

Thanks!! I looked it up, it's a gemstone. It's either black or brown and it's where the term "Jet Black" came from... Thank You, Everyone!!!
