howdy all. So I recently picked up some aimfront aluminum scales for the ole Bugout (Which are super rad I’d like to add) and they came with a Cerakote titanium color. So I wanted to change that to a coyote brown. I went with the tan Rust-Oleum Camo tan color and it looked great the first couple days but it started to get real tacky feelings and ended up rubbing right off. Has anyone had any luck doing some paint mods and have any suggestions on what works well other than having it repainted with Cerakote? Thanks a bunch all!

I don't think paint is going to work.
Agree.

OP, take a look at the Exchange/Knifemaker section and see what might be around. Someone might offer an anodizing or cerakote solution.

If you insist on painting them yourself, go with what the cool kids use these days.
