Pair of Cadets

I just bought a pair of poly-pearl handle Cadets at Wal-Mart.

One has an anvil on the blade, the other is marked 303T.

Can you tell me which is the newer model?

Any other info, like concerning the differences, or performance of these knives, is welcomed (these are my first Cadets).

The anvil is the marking for a blade made in 2002, the "T" is for one made in 2003.

Cute little knives, 420HC steel with great heat treat, they should serve you well if you want users, or just look nice if you like collecting.

I believe the only difference between these and regular cadets is in the special run of poly-pearl handle scales, but I´ll check back to see any answers from the people at Buck, I like these ones too.
 
Yes, the Cadets are great users indeed.

I was actually surprised during my rope cutting tests to see these little guys perform just as well as a much larger/heavier knife.
