This was a special order from a father and son who wanted something a bit different. The blade is basically an over sized version of my "hawkbill" neck knife with handles of ancient walrus ivory. This was my first time trying this handle material and I'm looking forward to playing with a few other pieces I have picked up since.
Both knives are approx. 12 1/2" overall with 7 1/2" blades of 350 layer damascus threaded through to the pommel. The Grey ivory has a throat of California Buckeye Burl and the Cream ivory has a throat of the same. Both have nickle-silver hardware.
Hope you like them.
