One in 1/8" thick 1075, water quenched, with ivory micarta scales. Brut-de-forge flats and satin finished bevels. Zero-ground edge. A little FeCl stain on the micarta because I've been carrying it :D

Bottom in 3/32" thick 1095, water quenched, same finish as above: forge flats, satin bevels. Cherry burl scales. Nicks in the (unsharpened as of yet) edge from testing with a file before and after tempering.

I'm a newbie who's been lurking and learning here so I keep pretty quiet but I know nice when I see and those are nice.
If you ever offer them to the public then holler cause I'd get in line for one like that bottom. It's got edc written all over it.
Nice.

Thanks, blackfly!
The bottom one is not yet spoken for. If you're interested (and the price is right for you), it can be yours when I finish the sheath within about a week.

Just drop me an email at mscantrell at gmail.com (I'd have emailed this to you, but your account is set not to allow emails from BFC users)... we'll finish the conversation in private, as the mods don't like transactions in the Gallery forum :)
