Does anyone have one of these yet? Impressions?

Are they on the Buck website or did I miss them?

SMKW's keeps sending me teasers with the Anvil deal but never have the stuff in stock that I want to order. Including these Paklites.

I havent noticed them on Bucks website yet. I do have both of the Paklites on order from Larry Oden but, he informed me one of them is on backorder yet, so I am patiently waiting for that one to come in!!!! They look very neat to me. As soon as I get them I will get some pics and impressions! Hard to beat the price as well!

They must be available, there are four different sellers on Ebay listing them right now.

Yes, I think they have lots of potential and for that price would be a great user knife. Buy several and leave them in handy locations. Also, knice at times to have a light fixed blade.

They are getting some talk on the Wilderness forum here also. However, seems many people would like a different sheath for them so I hope Buck can make that happen if the market supports it.

I would place that SMKW's order if they had these and the new cherry handles 300's in stock.

That is true but you have to be careful, some of those "sellers" sell to you and then place their order from the factory or their warehouse. 2 of those sellers did that to me already.

On a brighter note my Paklites arrived from Larry today! Thank you Larry!

I will post some pics and my thoughts in a bit! Really cool knives!

I like the light weight and the way Buck has the grip texturing around the handles and along the back of the blade, it should make for some really great handling and different grips! I think these are a hit!

Heres some pics. (click 'em) ;)

I really like the machined texturing! I havent cut much yet, but they handle well. They are about an 1/8" thick, so they wont be for very heavy cutting, but they werent really designed for it either. As far as caping and skinning, I think they will be perfect!
The "caper" I can see being my new favorite bird knife! I think the skinner will be my favorite though! I love Bucks new stamp on these also! The sheaths are bulkier than the knives themselves, but for me and hunting, I like a good durable sheath. (and these seem to be)
I agree that a piggyback version would be sweet though!

Enjoy the pictures.

Well, I'll find out real soon. The guy says he had 10 left and I ordered two of the capers.

Jim. I bet they would look cool braded around the handle with para
cord.

OK those two little babies are on my must have list.
Normally, I'd tell you I'm a leather only kind of guy but Buck's nylon is really good.
A doube stack sheath for be sweet.

I was thinking that as well, but I had a knife with para on the handle, and well, I hated cleaning the deer "stuff" off of it after I was done...:D

Well now that you say it that way.I guess your right about the Blood gore and guts.Guess I was not thinking about the intended use.I have never used a braided handle knife for hunting use.But para cord is not that expensive
and if I had them that way I would have to try them.
Thanks for making me Think.
Also Jim, if you leave them the way that they are .I could use them to open those
ice cold loneStar Longnecks.

I am leaving them as is, I really like them! And now thanks to you Jeff, I have another use for them ;)

I'll see how it works!

I got my two today and have to say they are pretty cool. I think I'll try the paracord idea on one of them. I won't be getting any deer gunk or any other kinda yucky stuff on mine, so that won't affect it. Boy, they are like razors too, makes a terrific letter opener.
