Paklite Skinner

I have the skinner, like it alot, but haven't used it much yet. Fits the hand well, sheath is pretty good too, and for 15 bucks you can't go wrong.

Can you hang it from your neck somehow , with that cordura sheath ?

I *just* bought one of these baby's for $14.50 - i'm stoked!!! I hope it's as good as it looks.

Unfortunately, there aren't many reviews (youtube or otherwise) of this little guy... I read the other thread on this knife, but there's simply not alot on it.

It's only a ~$15 knife so i guess i can't hope for too much.

Theres nothing to review :D its a great knife. I would pay $30.00 to replace mine :D

Yes they are that good :D Well thought out, great design, and affordable. All buck needs to do now is come out with an upgraded steel version!

They are an excellent no-frills knife. I have used one quite a bit and like it. The steel is fine for most purposes and re-sharpens very easily.

The sheath is basic but does what it is supposed to do. I have seen them described as neck knives but the sheath doesn't seem to be designed for that purpose.

Corrosion resistance is excellent and given the limitations of the thin, skeletonised grip, it handles well.

It is light, strong and compact.

This is a complete Thread Hi-Jack BTW......

To quote myself.... I have a little "foot-in-mouth" syndrome going on.

I was meaning to say something like, "It's only a ~$15 knife so i guess i can't hope for alot of reviews/vids b/c people won't care too much if the knife doesn't perform. It wouldn't be an expensive replacement *if* it was junk - which from all accounts it isn't". Something like that. I see there are tons of vids on youtube for the Izula, but only like 2 for the Paklite Skinner - bummer.

As a side point, i'm not worried too much about the sheath b/c i'm planning on making a Kydex sheath for it (as well as for my Trail Master) when i get back to the States.

I was mostly interested in seeing vid's of the knife getting worked and how well it retains it's edge, etc.
