I received my Pala Special BAS while I was at work today - my wife called to tell me that a package had arrived! Not bad for Uncle Bill having put it in the mail on Friday. (I think Bill must have some pull with USPS.) I had her open the box while I was on the phone. There was a brief silence on the other end, then she said "That is one wild looking knife!"
I could hardly wait until I got home to check it out for myself. I was not disappointed! I have never held a more substantial piece if cutlery. I fully intend to give it a good workout on some deadfall, and give you all a full report.
