Before I left Nepal, I visited the village of Palanchok.
I stopped at the Kali temple and offered flowers and
food for Kali. I could feel the great blessings she sent
me in return.

When I left the temple, I noticed a small shop (Aaran)
and decided to go in and visit the Kami there. Krishna Kumar Kami told
me that he makes the knives that the villagers need for
their farm tasks.

I watched him making the villager Khukuri Meat Cutter
and the Gowa knife. His workmanship was pretty good and
I bought two Gowa knives and one Khukuri. He needed
some cash for the Dashain Festival and was very happy
with my purchase.

I enjoyed the visit to Palanchok and the Kali temple. My
visit with the Kami was an unexpected delight and the
knives I am offering to you forumites will delight the
quick buyers among you. I only have three knives from
the Kami in Palanchok, so it is first come, first served
once again.

Real villager Kami-made knives are not that easy to find.
It does require an expensive trip to Nepal. This is your
chance to add an authentic villager knife toy our collection.

Don't wait...once the three sell, there's no more to offer you.

I'm surprised no one has picked up that khuk yet. THAT is an authentic villager. A little buff and it would be ready to go:) Perfect hiking companion.
