In another thread I was reminded that BF members like pictures of shiny things. :) So I promised to post some pics of my Spartan Blades Pallas folder after it arrived. This isn't a review; I'm just sharing some pics, with a few comments.

First up, a photo of the Pallas with a ZT0808 for size comparison. The Pallas is pretty big; you can look up stats if you need them but I thought a pic would be useful.

Next, partially opened.

Fully extended (slightly edited).

Finally, here's a close-up of the button lock.

The yellow tinge is from my flashlight. There wasn't enough light for the camera to pick up internal details. Sorry the photo isn't centered better.

There's surprisingly little metal-to-metal contact on the locking mechanism. I wonder how well it will hold up. Any opinions on that?

Just ordered :) Button lock is a nice change after all the framelocks, blade geometry looks very appealing and quality seems to be really good as well. Thanks for the intro :)

I just noticed a nice little detail. If you look really, really closely at the lanyard hole in the pics above you can just barely make out a milled indent for the lanyard cord. I just added a lanyard to mine. It still lays flat on the surface. Most other knives rock a little when set flat because they are resting on the lanyard cord. The CRK attachment might be even more slick, but I like this little attention to detail on the Pallas.
