Palm ebook format survival/first aid books wanted

Hi everyone,

I know there was a thread about PDA's in survival situations but I haven't been able to find it.

I aquired (very cheap) an as new Vtech Helio PDA which has an proprietary, Palm like, operating system and for which there are not to many applications to be found on the web.
They seem to have lost from Palm and the other PDA makers, but still the Helio is a nice affordable PDA.

I downloaded a txt2HDB.exe (textfile to Helio Ereader .hdb format) and a pdb2hdb.exe (Palm book to Helio Ereader .hdb format) so I can convert any textfile to the Helio's ereader format but also ANY .pdb Palm book.

Now I just need some Palm books on Survival or First Aid, if anybody knows were to find them or could email them to me I would be very happy.

I don't see this (any) PDA as an first line survival item, it's not waterproof, uses to much energy, is to fragile etc., but I just like to have something to read and have close by

Hello Sender,

The Survival manual makes use of a special pdb format and I can't convert it and the first Aid manual isn't 'available' anymore.

Well I'll continue searching,

...shooting from the hip from some of my previous visits to the site, but I remember the eMedicine site having a bunch of different downloads and references for use in PDAs. I don't recall if these are free or premium (pay) services however.
