My Palm Z21 started acting up.

The touch screen doesn't seem to respond. When I hit the "reset" thing in the back, it defaults to the screen where it asks you to calibrate the screen by touching the stylus tip to the point on the screen indicated by the stylus icon.

However, it doesn't recognize any inputs, either on the screen, or on the buttons. Hitting reset just brings me back to the same scenario.

Fortunately, my data is backed up on my computer, but does this mean that it's time to get a new unit? Anyone else have similar problems with the "relatively" newer generation of Palms? I know some of the first generation Palm Pilots (made in U.S.A.) are still working today.

I'll let you know. I probably won't be able to do it until next week when I have more time to mess around with the computer.
