Okay - here is the latest to be churned out by the man who you claim never sleeps.

This is a pancake style sheath that rides low on the belt (I listened to the last review) and presents with a VERY tight package.

It has not been fully boned (that is what they call it when you rub a 'boning' tool on the sides Rick... okay?) or finished being sealed in this picture so it still looks a little rough around the edges - but it will be fully shiny and looking perfect by tommorow. I just wanted to get the pictures up.

I was thinking of selling these for 35 shipped. What are your thoughts?

Please give feedback and whether you would buy one.

Thanks - and I promise this is it for a while.

Handsome sheath, man. I'd probably get the other non-pancake before this one, unless I worked at a place where I was getting in and out of cars a lot or near things that could snag at me. In that case I think I'd want the more stable pancake sheath.

I'd do her.

Hahaha

Edited to add: This isn't a knock at all, because it's well crafted and better than what I've ever made, but you might try hitting some of the cut edges with low speed sander. The flap/lip shows some signs of cuts that could otherwise be cleaned up. Just a thought!

Spooky,

Yeah - What I needed to do BEFORE I posted pictures is to 'burnish' the edges. You lightly wet a cloth and rub the leather aroung the edges vigerously. This compresses the fibers - takes care of the rough look - and darkens the edges slightly. I did this last night and I will replace the pics today.

Wow - that really looks good - I really like the look of those pancake type sheaths/holsters as they ride really close and don't get in the way too much. Nicely done - Thanks for sharing.

That's a lot of stitching for $35, but it sure looks like it's worth the money.
