Yesterday a friend of mine went to an auction and scored 4 axes, all with handles, for 28 bucks. all of the axes are old, the handles on all but one had to be taken off. the only one that didn't need the handle taken off, is marked PANTHER near the poll. does anybody know anything about this axe? i know its old because the handle on it, and all the others, are far thinner than the replacement handles you can buy today.

Panther has been a name associated with Kelly, Honeyman Hardware, and a foreign maker, and I apologize, I cannot remember who.
