I'm looking for recommendations on pantographs. I have found one in very good condition. "Alexander 3D Model 380S" I don't currently use one and I'm not sure if this model would be good for inlays, folder components, etc. I would appreciate your advice. thanks Marty

I have never heard of the machine you mention. The Deckel pantographs are very good if you find one to buy. Otherwise you need one that is designed for tool making and not for sign engraving. The engraving pantographs have a very light spindle are not designed for taking heavy cuts in steel and titanium. If you can get a machine with 1:1 ratio capability that is helpful sometimes.
