To those that carry a lot of stuff in your pockets: Do yo do anything special to keep your pants up? When I carry a single large knife, such as an SMF, I notice that I have to constantly hike up my pants. I think I would loose the battle if I added all the other EDC stuff.

Have you tried suspenders? Not that I need them personally, I find the combination of a belt and an expanding waistline holds my pants up fine! :D

You could try these....

That works well, untill the waisline expands to a larger size than the hips. Suspenders would work, but some smart a** always thinks it's funny to snap em..

Leiderhosen always remind me of a cartoon I saw years ago: Hitler and his generals are standing around in Hitler's Bavarian eerie. The Fuhrer remarks "Und next week we vill have ze night of ze long trousers!"

Yes, used to wear them when I was young and it's a constant problem!

Suspenders are something very different over this part of the planet, something a guy should not wear.......

Braces!

just got some 511 tactical pants for work , they have a separate front knife pocket ! and haven't fallen down yet . mind you i edc a belt also .

It's the same here. The phrase 'belt and braces' means to be doubly careful or protected.

I hasten to add that it was braces I was talking about! :D

I sometimes use a holster or pouch attached to my belt for a heavier knife when I can cover it up with a jacket or shirt.

One can only tighten his belt so far before real solutions become necessary.
