So I for awhile did some research and development on some gear my company was thinking of using/issuing. I'm gonna start with the pants just because I still have no pics and they can be looked up online. So I was given I don't even know how many pairs of pants and different brands, most never made it past initial inspection or fitting, and then I met a few guys who were absolutely high speed low drag guys.well I asked them about there gear and pants specifically.I was informed that they had just received them not to long ago and were just f***Ing awesome as 1guy put it,so I got myself a pair and immediately fell in love they are light weight, very quick drying, and nice enough for everyday wear. All pockets have drain holes, triple stitching
...ect the features are endless see website. They do fit true to size with a little extra space for iwb carry. So be put the pair I have through the ringer.....i wore them in tue hottest jungles, warmest deserts and urban environments I was sent to,then I used them for hiking pants, yard work ECT.even tried to stain the with grass and food items I also washed them everyday for 3months....and they still look new....oh and there super light too......i m wearing them as I wright this...oh and there made in the USA.....check them out ......T.A.D gear amphibious cargo pants.....worth every penny.

I'm more of a Carhartt, Wrangler guy...
My daughters boyfriend is back on leave from a contractor job in Iraq for the state dept. I guess he picked me up some 5:11 pants and shirts to try out. I'll let you know what I think about them.
I'll check out the t.a.d.'s in the mean time.

i have some tad gear jackets and backpacks - and i am eagerly awaiting the restock on the new fast packs  - gotta try some of their pants soon

- truly amazing design, built quality and innovation - and their products keep getting better every year - a company-philosophy which inspires me when i work on my products

The only pants I have are Levis 560s,BDUs mostly Propper, and Lee Dungaree shorts.

Tru-spec 24-7. Best work pants I've ever had the pleasure of wearing. Same 5 pair, worn & washed, roughly twice a week for 3 years. Only 1 crotch explosion in that time due to threadwear. Easily repaired! I tend to bust the groin out of all my pants, in around 6 months. So if I get any longer wear, it's a big plus. Dupont sprayed, to keep the blood, feces, and urine I work in at a minimum, and I get 'em at a local brick & mortar for right at $30 a pair. Work don't buy my uniforms, but I do write 'em off on taxes. Those lapolicegear operators ain't bad for $20, but don't compare to the tru-spec. Don't get me started on 5.11 pants...

Dickies are what the cool kids wear :)

Umm all that cotton stuff sucks. I like my North Face convertible pants but the cargo pockets are in an odd place. Those TAD gear ones look sweet.

I've also been hearing alot about parana pants....i think REI has them and there supposed. To be less tactical but just as functional....and I do believe they have them in convertables......there next on my list....if I can resist tads stuff.....but since im outta work and no onecan tell me when my work comp checks will come in...im more than happy with my tad pants

carhartt, and tru-spec for work, arizona's jean's when i have to dress up. would like to try those daluth? trading company ball room's pant's.

I have 2 pair of the Duluth Ball Room jeans. Easily my favorite jeans! 1 pair is 2 1/2 years and I just got a new pair this Christmas. The old ones are just a little faded, but rock solid with NO issues/holes/rips/tears.
