Am I posting in the correct place?

Anyway, I've got a bottle or two of Pappy 23 and another 12 year old.
Just wondering where I can advertise to get retail value or an auction site...

I'm not sure what the legalities of selling alcohol are, as an individual; so I'm not sure what options open . Even on the Bay, when it was happening, the rules stated that only collectible bottles were allowed - nothing still in production. (Yeah, that was widely ignored, which is why it eventually got shut down. It just became another venue for selling alcohol, and people weren't following the laws when doing so - selling/shipping to minors, shipping where it was prohibited, etc)
If you had the 20yr, I'd have sent you a PM rather than responding, lol. The 23 yr, IMO, isn't worth the $200 retail.

I don't think you'll have a problem getting double the retail for it, but you'd have to sell it through forums. I also am a fan of the 20 year (especially my 2008 bottle). The 23, while not bad, is a bit too oaky for me.

I'm still trying to figure out what I should do with them. I see the avg retail online but you know how it is, what people are asking isn't what it's worth and all that... http://www.wine-searcher.com/find/o...srv+23+straight+bourbon+whisky+kentucky+usa/0
I'm going to discuss it with the boss and see if we can release it as an event or something to our customers at a decent price. After all they want it and they are the reason we even have the bottles. Not offering would be sort of a kick in the nuts IMO.

And as far as the quality of the years, the 23 I originally had 15 years ago was the perfect bourbon. It has changed a lot.
