Hello all,
I'm looking to try the 15 year Pappy but am not having much luck locally, or on the web for that matter. I was wondering if any of you fine folks might be able to steer me in the right direction? I'm a scotch fan, and this bourbon has piqued my interest due to your reviews and photos.

BTW, I'm new here and would just like to say that I'm enjoying this site very much. Thanks for all the great information.

I was in Maryland this weekend looking for some as none of the stores in Pa. close to me have any. I checked about 10 stores and couldn't find a single bottle of ANY Pappy Van Winkle. It is hit or miss. When you see it....buy it. Some online stores seem to have some in stock.

Happy hunting. :)

I was at a place called Corridor Wine and Liquors here in MD and they had it and 23 year I believe. There is another store south of Annapolis that carries it but for the life of me I cant remember the name.

I have a bottle of 20 year that is mostly full. I've been hunting for the 15 year. I was looking near Bel Air.

Mmmmm 15.......

Try the chain store Total Wine, for some reason they have had a bunch this season

Damn it, I still need to find some and give it a whirl. So a consensus is get the 15 yr old?

Hard to find. I found a little Italian restaurant that was serving 15 year by the glass for $8. Also, does anybody know how often it shows up in restaurants as far as what anyone has seen or experienced?

Looks like one could buy it at Owensliquors.com. I would post a direct link but I'm not sure if it's allowed here.

The whole line is only released twice a year in the spring and fall. If you don't find it a few days from release you won't see it for 6 months.

In ABC states, Virginia included, the stores have access to large wharehouse inventories. If you ask, an ABC store manager can special order an item like the PVW Bourbon. I was a Manager at a Virginia ABC store, and you wouldn't have to pay up front, just when you pick it up. All contigent on it being in stock. Call the stores first!
