Para 2 blade slightly magnetic?

I am currently in the middle of taking apart my Para 2, and I noticed that the bushing is magnetically attracted to the blade on the tang near where it contacts the blade stop.

Is this weird, or part of the production process???

Almost all blades should be affected by magnets, if that's what you're asking. Even stainless ones.

I think he means that the blade itself is magnetized.

Or the bushing? OP, which one is it that's acting like a magnet?

As a response, I have taken several of the P2 and M2 knives apart (they have the same bushing system) and have not had one behave that way.

I've had other knives exhibit magnetism. RandomAyes' claim seems as good as any explanation I've seen.
