I never post anything although I have been lurking forever, but I thought this deserved a post.

I know a lot of people were not pumped about the earth brown para 2 but I have to say it is outstanding now that I have it in my hands. If you like the para 2 this one really deserves a second look. Also the earth brown blends in nicely with the work khakis.

Great work on this one Sal, fit and finish is better than all of my other para's. When I took it out of the box it was so smooth it was almost as if someone took the time to break it in for me.

Anyway in case you wanted to buy another knife there is my pep talk for you. :D
 
I agree! My Brown Paramilitary 2 arrived last week and it has been in my pocket since its arrival. Great job Sal and Spyderco crew!
 
+1. F&F on mine is as good as on the Blue/M390 variant now that it's had a bit to break in. I'm very impressed. The color is surprisingly nice, too - a bit understated, blends in well with most things but still looks great when you take a second to examine it.
 
I love this knife. It is my first and only Para2. I was looking for a Para2, but figured if I could spend $20-30 more and get a different color/exclusive, why not? Even though I dont have anything to compare it to, it is great. Perfect lock up, centering. I personally love the brown color. It seems less intimidating than black, plus it adds a little character. It isnt as bright as the other sprints/exclusives, which I view as a perk. Great knife.
 
I passed on the s35vn mainly because I've got four other Para2's. Despite the fact people were saying they were no big deal, they disappeared pretty damn fast. ;)
 
The Para 2 Earth Brown is such an awesome knife. I really like the brown G-10 color handle, and a small upgrade in steel is never bad :p
 
I got an order in for mine on Saturday, and the package should be here by the end of the week. It's my first sprint run Spyderco. I just missed the boat on the blue, but I am a big fan of the brown g10. If I could get a brown handle in regular old D2, I'd be in love.
 
I've carried and used this knife quite a bit. The disappointments I've previously had with S35VN haven't manifested in this Spyderco rendition. I love the color too. :cool:

My first para is a brown one as well. Excellent knife so far. I love the really sharp and pointy tip compared to my other spydies.

My Brown Para 2 was smooth as silk right out of the box and it knocked the Digicam DLC Para 2 out of my pocket a month ago. I love the color!

Got mine in the mail today. Lightning smooth, and what little stick the lock had was gone after only a handful of openings. The brown g10 is looking pretty sweet in my pocket. Looking forward to some yard work this weekend, and breaking down some boxes from new stuff for my boys nursery. I might turn into one of these sprint run junkies.

One a related note, I wish the online shop was a bf retailer. Super fast shipping from the east coast to the west. Sent an old school portable band aid dispenser along with the package, too. Very nice touch. ;)
