Para 2 fake?

Hi guys! I just got a paramilitary 2 blurple in S110V . I already have one in S30V and this one just isn't that smooth at all. I thought it just needs to be broken in but then I realized the lanyard tube is kind of sharp edged. I remember watching a youtube video that said it can be a indication of a fake.

I started cutting a lot of cardboard to check if the edge retention is good and it held up very good. I assume the fakes uses crap steel. So now I'm conflicted.. is the steel the proof and I maybe just got a factory second or did I end up with a fake? Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
I've had multiple Paramilitary 2. They were not equal. Some were tightened down and stiff as hell and needed adjustment. Others came perfectly smooth. That is just the way with Paramilitary 2 and not a telltale sign of a fake.

Go to this thread and read post number 11. It will tell you how to post pictures on bladeforums.

After that hit reply to my message so I know you posted them and post some detailed (not fuzzy) pictures of the jimping. From thay I will be able to tell you if it is real or not.
 
Loosen the pivot slightly. But it may just need to be worn in a bit.

Only way to tell if it's a fake is to provide pics. Or check out the fakes sticky in the spyderco subforum. Youtu.be also has some videos. Tbo I doubt it's fake.
 
You should compare the two together. I think spydercos g10 is pretty unique and should be a good indication of authenticity of they match.
