Para 2 Prices

Hey guy. I am looking into para 2s and wanted to know if it would be worth it to look around the for sale se section or just buy it straight from [REMOVED]. On [REMOVED] it is 98.20 shipped with a promo code. Could I get a better price here on The forums though???

Yes, we know you found a great price on the Ninja Disembowel 4000 at SuperPriceMART. We don't care. We'd prefer you support the dealers who support BladeForums.com.

As such, we don't allow deal spotting because otherwise the forums would be a quagmire of "deals" (real or imagined) posted everywhere, or unscrupulous people posting "deals" for non paying dealers. So don't do it.

You won't find much of a better deal for a mint one on the forums. Half the time when you buy a "like new" knife used, even if it's in perfect condition, it's full of dust and pocket lint, etc. It's just a better feeling getting a brand new knife. I wouldn't buy used unless I was saving more money.
 
That is a good buy so I would just get it from there. It is rare that a Para 2 go for under that price. Sometimes you may find a used one for a little less but you might wait a day or it might be several weeks and then you may not save that much. I would go for it. Good Luck! Kevin :thumbup::D

Buy it! No sense in buying on here when it can be had cheaper elsewhere... forum supporter or not.
 
Or you can support the forums and purchase from one of the registered dealers! In fact, I believe I just saw a dealer that had some of the paramilitary 2 brown g10 S35vn in stock!
 
I have seen good prices from some of the dealers that are registered here.

I usually try to buy used knives from members on our sales forum and I have managed to buy a few at prices that I liked. Unfortunately with the Para 2 they are in very high demand and used ones aren't plentiful on our sales forum.
 
I try to buy from a forum supporting dealer or a forum member. And I should say that most forum members seem to be pretty good about correctly advertising what they're selling and are usually good enough to clean the knife up, package it well, etc. The main time I can think of that I bought a knife that I wished I had just bought new was from the Bay. Packed with lint and blade play. Things generally go better when purchasing from a forum member. I like to buy new, though. Especially if I'm only going to save 10 percent or so purchasing used. But if it's a discontinued, out of stock, or really well priced knife, then I guess the best you can hope for is a little pocket lint lol. I just got a Kershaw Tilt in the mail and I was ecstatic that the only flaw was a bit of lint! :)
