hey guys first time posting on this subforum so if i am leaving anything important out let me know
i have a para 2 that i left in my EDC back and forgot about
pulled it out a couple days ago to use it and it was as sticky as hell...
used to be able to flick it out with my middle finger and now i cant and its so stiff that i can barely move it forward with my thumb
tried to clean it up but i cant do much with out taking it apart which i cant do without stripping the screws
any suggestions
Thx
Thomas

Your safest bet is to send it back to Spyderco, though undoubtedly people will give you some other options to try. Have you tried cleaning it with warm soap and water? Rinse the pivot really well after, and a drop of oil into the pivot area surely wouldn't go amiss.

Why would you be stripping the screws? Use the right torx size and you're golden. This might sound pathetic but I didn't have any oil for mine recently so when I did my full tear down I used police oil and guess what it works lol
