i have a sticky compression lock that takes alot of force to close. how can i fix this? thanks.

some says lubing the lock face and the blade tang works.You can use lead pencil for lubing.

I rid mine of a slightly "sticky" lock release, by rotating the stop pin a little bit.

I've tried everything on mine, but nothing has helped at all. Others have luck with loosening the stop pin screws and flicking the blade open. Then, without closing the blade, tighten the stop pin screws.
