Para 2

Just ordered a Para 2. Is it normal for some Para 2 not to have the name and where made at on the blade? New to Spyderco knives and just wandering. Thanks
 
I'm sorry to say this but it sounds like you got a fake...I have never seen one thats unmarked.

Is the Para2 the most popular Spyderco right now?

What's going rate on one of these?

I don't own any Spyderco's and am wanting to pick up some, just not sure which. I see the PM2 mentioned often. I really like the looks of the Pacific Salt, just dunno about the H1 steel.

Do you know what the current going rate is for one? I've seen several people say they're having a tough time finding, but see a few in the exchange every now and then. I've been lurking around here for a while.
 
I just bought it on Ebay. I bid on it then looked at the pictures and it doesnt seem to have any markings on the blade. It says there is a 14 day return period from the guy So I guess when I get it I will post pics and see if it is real or not. Thanks guys $150 is what it sold for and it is supposed to be used but in new condition

Depends. On the exchange here about $120, that's if you can get to one on time, on fleabay the sky is the limit any where from $160 to $250 depending on the model....now dealers have them for about $120 but there rarely in stock and when they are the sell out quick....
 
Sometimes depending on the lighting the markings can seem to disappear.

Post the auction for rycen to check out. He's the master fake spyderco spotter, lol. I'm amazed at the fake spyderco thread he posts on...Id never spot those fakes
 
As is and I think it's just the lighting that makes the markings hard to see. Everything else on knife looks legit.
 
I think you are ok, if you zoom in and look really close, you can see the E on the blade but it looks faded.

I've seen a lot, but they never use the compression lock, always a liner lock

Well, rycen cured me of never seeing a fake Para2. I have nothing nice to say, so shiny footprints. :)
