Para 2's all out of stock

All the usual online stores that I price check seem to be out of stock for the Para 2s.

Is there a production halt due to some lock/smoothness issue, or are they just selling like hotcakes because they are a great value?

I'm looking for something to replace my stolen Sage 1, which I absolutely loved, and may just get another one.

But the P2 caught my eye with the larger blade and compression lock.

Has anyone found the P2 in stock anywhere besides Ebay?

Issues? I have a regular Para2, one in S90V, and they're both perfect. No issues here.

I tend to think they are selling like hotcakes really, especially seen the fact that Spyderco has lowered their price compared to v1.0...
 
Yeah, my CF S90V is surprisingly smooth, almost as nice as the old D2 sprints. And the lock is flawless and easy to use. So I don't think there are any issues to sort out; just struggling to align supply with demand for this homerun of a knife. It really is almost the perfect folder.
 
Warriors and Wonders said that they would get the Paramilitary 2's in stock hopefully sometime in mid Feb or early March
 
I'm not sure about the out of stock issue but the Para 2 is a great knife, smooth in operation, quit nice overall. I own both Para 2 and Sage (1,2, and 3). Personally (IMHO) I prefer the Sage 1 because of the blade shape, handle ergonomics and CF material, MW liner lock, sheeple friendly and deep seating wire clip. This is simply my personal experience.

Both are great knives, just depends on what you like and your ergonomics. If you cannot find a Para 2 and really want one feel free to PM me.

Demand continually outpaces production on this one. Dealers can't keep them in stock.
