I have a friend that got a Para 3 somewhere. Someone has done a scale and hardware swap. When they reassembled it was not properly done and the action was ALL WRONG. I got the knife apart and it was missing a washer and I dont think the stop pin was properly seated. Plus the back spacer has a screw that I think was cross threaded. I have ordered a new set of washers BUT I still cannot get the one screw out of the back spacer. I have tried a pair of needle nose pliers and clamped down on the backspacer, but the screw is in there so tight the whole things still spins in the pliers. I put a rubber band around to try and get a little grip then clamped on that....still no traction. Any ideas?? The hardware looks aftermarket. It was probably supposed to be blue titanium anodized hardware. It is non magnetic so it is either titanium or aluminum posing at titanium.

If it's a para 3 lw they're only supposed to have one washer I believe.

A heat gun or hair dryer might help to remove the jammed screw .
