Para 3 fake?

Just got this on a trade and wanted to get a second opinion.

Tough to say without some clearer photos, but two things jump out at me:
- Angle of Sal's mark looks off
- "U.S.A.Earth" instead of "U.S.A. Earth" (a common error on fakes)

Could just be the angle -- seeing the clip side head-on would help.

Thank you. The tang stamp looks off for sure.

The plunge is also pretty ugly; Spyderco plunge grinds are usually very crisp. Ditto the lateral lines visible under the coating; I've never seen grind lines visible through Spyderco's DLC.

It does sorta have a vibe that's pinging some concern.

The markings on the Para 3’s I have are in a curve like the end of the scale, not a straight line.

My Para 3 is not DLC, but has no visible grind marks running from spine to edge, and there is a definite space between "U.S.A." and "Earth." The little mark on the tang on mine is much closer to the scales than to the Spydiehole.

Fake. The blade “belly” shape is all wrong. The USA Earth & ricasso as pointed out by others. But most of all the shape of the cut-out in the scales for the compression lock.
