Do all the Spyderco Para-Military's have the slanted blade, Will this be a problem. I am looking to buy the all Black standard

Ah! Well, unfortunately, yeah, it's a good possibility. Mine has minor vertical play and the pivot doesn't want to stay tight. As Garageboy said, Sal and Company will make it right if you have problems, you'll just have to send it in for repair. Kind of a PITA, but it's good to know they stand behind their work.

From what I can tell from your original post, you want to buy a black-bladed Paramilitary, and you want to know if all Paramilitaries have the problems in the thread you link to in your post, including an off-center ("slanted") blade right?

Anyway, if that's the question, then the anwer is no. A good online dealer will check to make sure the blade is centered if you ask. The problem of the lock bar being overengaged (too far to the opposite side) can be easily fixed by rotating the stop pin (you'll need torx drivers though).

As for the question in your second post, Spyderco will replace or repair a defective knife free (except you pay shipping), however I'm not sure that an off-center blade would be considered a defect since it usually doesn't interfere with the function of the knife. (At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if Sal would replace it.)

It's a great knife. The first one I got had lockbar pretty far over to the opposite side, so I exchanged it -- this was before I knew the stop pin trick. The blade on that one was perfectly centered. The one I got in exchange also has a perfectly centered blade.
