Does the Para Military have "adjustments" that can be fouled up by taking it apart? I know the old Military and Lil Temp did.
I may want to polish up parts of the blade (dark parts) and maybe change the pivot pin screws (miscellaneous metal shreads).

I will not attempt if I could possibly mess it up.
I am well pleased with the knife, it functions flawlessly. However, I am a Spyderco fan, a cut above.

I can't recall if this sort of thing voids any warranty from Spyderco's perspective, but from this "end user" perspective: no, there's nothing much to foul up. One of the nice features of the Para Millie is precisely that it can be easily self-serviced/ broken down for thorough cleaning and reassembly. Sure, you could over-tighten the pivot or screw (or leave it too loose), but a little common sense is all that's needed here, no "rocket science."

My Para Mil is currently in the shop at Golden, to deal with slight vertical play in the blade. But I am looking forward to getting it back, as it is quickly becoming my favorite Spydie (least for this year!).

My 2¢ --

I know that disassembling your Spydies will void the warranty, but that's not what you're asking. :D

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the "eccentric pivot" on the older-model Military (and, I think, the Starmate, and maybe others, too), which allowed for adjustment of the liner lock to compersate for wear. It also meant that if you took the knife apart, you had to know how to reset the pivot (instructions are around somewhere on BF).

Fortunately, the eccentric pivot is no longer in use on the Paramilitary or the S30V Military, so you don't have to worry about it.

If there are other "adjustments" that I'm unaware of, I hope somebody'll jump in and correct me.
