Made one of those parachute tipi's. Love it but need some advice on how to water proof it and make it flame resistant. Any ideas would be a big help. Thanks.

I've used Thompson's water seal on canvas with good results. Traditionally canvas was treated with wax dissolved in something like kerosene. This turns the whole thing in to a big candle. Not something I care to do. After you treat with the water seal a flame retardant can be put on as a second step. there are a few company's that carry products for canvas tents that should work on your Para tipi. Panther primitives, and dixie gun works come to mind.
