I've been on a bit of a paracord stitching kick lately. Mainly because I broke all the needles in my stitching awl and I can't find anyplace local to replace them without having to buy a new awl. Anyways, I have put together a few decent sheaths like that and wanted to show them off.

This bottom one was more of a challenge born out of boredom, but I do like how it came out. Everything is held together with paracord stitching. No string, rivets, bolts or snaps.

I actually like it, I love paracord and I love leather, but when I read the title I didn't know how it would look together. Especially on the backpack style sheath (name of style?). I really think it looks the best on the lighter leather.

by the way, what is the blade in the bottom sheath?
I saw the handle and it looks interesting.

Oh, that is just an old sword I made about 6 years ago. Its not very good, but like I said, I only made the sheath out of boredom.
Its just a piece of steel I shaped with an angle grinder. It was mostly an experiment in handle design. In this case, apple wraped in copper wire and old boot leather. I like the way it came out. I just wish I used better steel for it.

As for the "backpack" style sheath, I'm not sure which one you're talking about. They all could pretty much be strapped to a back pack.

Second from last picture is the one I was talking about

The handle on that is what caught my eye in the last though
