paracord brands

its what I use mostly. some batches differ from others a bit (probably has to do with color processing). Overall just fine in my book.

I am not a professional paracorder. However, I have purchased about 700 ft of paracord from Rothco. For the most part it is not the best quality. For example, colors royal blue and safety orange come "deflated" so to speak. When you tie the cord, it flattens out as if there are less strands inside despite the fact that it does have 7. All their tan colors are engorged with inner strands making the cord quite bulky and difficult to tie into a neat coherent knot. Again, it still has 7 strands. The best color was foliage green. The quality matched the cords that were bought in retail stores by the foot. The foliage green was capable of being tied into a tight coherent knot.

Did you have any problems with black if you even bought any?
