Hey guys...admittedly I am not well versed in the para cord commerce circuit but I went into Home Depot and they had some....I live in wayne county Michigan just outside of Detroit in Dearborn and I have visited 7 seperate home depots in my area for work and other things and they all had bins of para cord in different colors and patterns. It was 50' of cord for $2.97 per bundle. I did some checking nonlinear and it seems like a pretty good deal...

Now there are two seperate bins.....a $2.97 bin and an$3.99 bin. I of course only took from the cheaper bins but in a lot of cases they were all mixed in together so they gave me the same price on all of them.

So just a heads up in case anybody wanted some.

Thanks for the heads up. Saw them at home depot too, but the working load limit said 100something lbs. That threw me for a loop. Did you buy any? Wondered if it's had the normal 7 double twist core strands as mil-spec 550 paracord.

That stuff is not paracord despite what they may call it. It looks like the real deal until you start working with it. It does not have the individual strands that we all know and love. It's 3 bucks because that's all it's worth guys.

This is classic deal spotting. No one asked for help finding paracord. You just gave free advertising to a dealer who is not a member of Bladeforums. We discourage that:

You are not allowed to direct sales to a source which is not a paid Bladeforums dealer. Home Depot is not on the list. Current list is at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...aler-Members-********?p=12633453#post12633453

This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care.
If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising.
This infraction can be issued as a warning and is worth 10 points towards your total. It expires in 12 months.
