dont ever see any pics with paracord so figured I would try it. I love the feel of the scales but being really hot and summer I thought i would lighten it up and make it easier to conceal with just T-shirt weather.

Awesome pics. I have an Izula and have been thinking about picking up a HEST at some point. It's cool to see them side by side. The paracord grips are looking good too :thumbup:

thanks, it feels really good in hand. I took the mollie off to and put paracord for belt loops to lighten it up also. any one else use paracord instead of slabs?
 
I was really impressed with how much better the Izula felt with paracord. It really fits my medium sized hands perfectly.

have you noticed the paracord loosen up at all with hard use over time? not quite sure how i'd knot the bottom myself without hampering the prybar function... then again i'm a paracord/knife noob.
 
I love the ESEE micarta handles but that HEST looks pretty sick now. Let us know how you like it after carrying it for a while.
 
I just did it last night so not sure about it loosening up, my Izula has not had any issues at all and its been wrapped since the day I got it. I love that little bugger! to be honest I wanna get a second HEST SO i CAN JUST LEAVE THE SCALES AND MOLLE CLIPS FOR WHEN i'M ON MY MOTORCYCLE AND HIKEING AND USE THIS FOR edc( dam cap lock button).
 
Nice wrap. I'm not sure how to post pics but when I figure out I'll post some of a REAL knife, one with use marks on it lol. USE THAT KNIFE!!!
