paracord uses - LINK

The drunken Tai Chi Taoist in me rejoices. . .

I kinda like the paracord belt I have. I'd seen some of the paracord belt designs online but the thing that always bugged me about them is what was I gonna use to hold my pants up after I unraveled it. :) So what i ended up doing was taking about 30 ft of paracord and using the same cobra weave I use to make my braclets and wove it OVER a nylon belt i picked up at the local army surplus. i stopped about a foot from the end so i have room to thread my belt thru the buckle and have room for adjustment. So now i take 30 ft of paracord with me everywhere i go, almost 40 if you include a braclet and I can unravel it and still not lose my pants.

Neat. This may be the most bestest paracord thread of all. I'm subscribing to this one. It would make a good sticky, too,

Several knot books have info on half hitching/needle hitching, but you can also follow online instructions, like shown on this Swedish website.

For making a pouch with hitching, the only difference is using a separate drawstring/cinch cord with cord lock to start, which allows opening/closing fuctions, then do the hitching around whatever object you intend to cover. :)
