Paracord wrap on Izula if you may use it for Hunting?

Has anyone gutted out any game with an Izula that has paracord wrap on the handle? It seems like you should leave it unwrapped if that was a possible use for the knife because of all the blood soaking into the cord.

Seems to me like the paracord would help prevent your bloody hand from slipping off the handle, but I don't have an Izula yet so I couldn't tell you if that's really a problem. Paracord is fairly cheap and easy to come by, so you could always change the handle wrap after hunting season. Just a thought.

Agreed. You could just rewrap after using it on a deer. It would improve your grip.

Just use your pinkie through the ring on the bottom. Works for me, though I have small hands.
