Just done, 3,0 mt of Paracord foliage green 550, it's really comfortable and ... you have always some paracord whit you, just in case :-) Do you like it?
Ciao,
Alfredo

Too nice of a watch for lowly paracord, in my opinion, but it does look great! Nicely done!

Don't like. That watch is too classy for that band. I think it would go better on something that's considered more of a "fun" watch such as a Luminox, maratec, etc.

I like it. I have a couple of cheap digital watches I got at wal-mart with cobra weave bands. Chicks dig it.

Maybe walmart chicks dig it and if that's what your going for all the power to you.

A watch like an Omega, cartier, rolex, etc. give a man a certain amount of credibility but when you do that to it you might as well be wearing a timex.

It's not the watch, it's the fact that I made the band myself. And they think it looks cool.

As far as expensive watches go, if you like a quality time piece then go for it but they don't say "credibility" to me.

I guess I don't see it this way. My Omega is a trusted piece of equipment, not a showpiece, one that's been on more (mis)adventures over the last 10+ years than most of my other gear combined. It's been to Tom Brown's Standard Class, to multiple carbine and pistol courses, and has been on my wrist for about 30k rounds of 9mm and .556.

The original stainless band was heavy and friggin' hurt, and got dinged and scratched. This is my second Maratac Zulu band (first was black, and became a little frayed over 6 years of constant wear), and it is infintely more comfortable and less proned to damage than the original. So while it may seem silly to some to have a $20 band on a $1k+ wristwatch, I guess it's all in one's perspective on the purposefulness and comfyness (if that's a word) of their equipment.
