Paracording handles.......a how to?

Is there a good way to paracord handles on my full tang knives to make them really tight?

I have a cold steal true flight thrower that came wrapped really well, and I am wondering if there is a really good way to do it? so that there are no spaces inbetween the wraps where steel is showing.

any suggestions?? nuances?
