Paradigm availability?

Are there any clues at to when the Paradigms are going to hit the market? I was showing my Paradigm Avid to a co-worker a while back and it inspired him to order one. Unfortunately his is on back order. He became depressed enough that he ordered a different knife just to get some gratification. I told him that the last I heard April was hinted at. Any updates?
 
I talked to a lady at Bucks consumers dept. this morning and asked her,she said right now it looks like sometime in May.So there you go.Looks like we're just gonna have to wait:eek:
 
I'd sure like to know what issues are holding them up. Glad I got mine when I had the chance.
 
When I talked to the lady at Buck,see told me only a few got released.It seemed to be a sore subject,so I left it at that.
 
It must be a really sore subject as you see the lack of responses from Buck staff to this repeated question....I had plans to buy two of each style, but I am starting to wonder if there are some big issues with these....
 
Everyone I know who has one likes it. It's a shame, because this delay must be a loss for the company.
 
I'd like to know who of those that frequent this forum managed to score one. I know flatlander got an Avid, but I don't know who else.
 
Yep, got an Avid right off the bat from Knifecenter.com
I really like mine, no problems/issues (blade is a off center but all Buck's I seem to buy online are this way now) with it. So this technical issue or whatever it is something of a surprise to me. I too would like to know what the deal is too.

They've added it to the Buck Web Site. I take that to mean they're close.

:D That's a good sign Flat,my Avid from knife center has been on back order for a long time now.Had they been in stock,by now I'm sure I would also have pulled the trigger on the Pro as well.Heck just to calm my nerves,I ordered an Alaskan Guide 110 from Cabelas yesterday.I plan to buy a USA made Buck,every month.Marlin Firearms,gave all their employees pink slips,and the factory is shutting down.Another piece of America gone.
