So I guess I am not that observant
When was the Paradigm discontinued ?
I have 3 of these I was hoping the would be coming out with some different variations .
Just like my my favorite knives the Alpha series. I guess it is gone. :confused:
 
I'm not that observant either. I didn't realize they had been discontinued.
I just looked in the new catalogue and it's not there.
It is my favorite Buck knife other than the Folding Hunter.
 
I noticed they were gone off of Buck's website the end of last year.
I won one at auction from a buck dealer and it got cancelled . So I looked around and noticed they are out of stock everywhere. The prices on the bay for the few regular versions they have have gone through the roof. I was hoping to pick one up cheao and have some one make it into a partially serrated blade. Unlike most people I find them useful on my edc knife.

Badhammer I did a search and did not see that. I guess I need to use the advanced search function. I read your thread and agree you can't trust the Buck website. It's definitely gone everywhere . I have not received my paper copy of the 2016 Buck catalog

When these were first advertised I was hoping they were going to be a full auto like the MicroTech knife. Then with MFG issues they were distributed so late in the year, I had lost interest in the knife. I was sent one by Buck's MR. Keys and I started EDCing the knife right away. Within 2 month's the knife broke (need to send it in) I liked it so much I bought another right away. I will miss this version from Buck!

First I heard these are no longer being made......I looked on the "bay" and almost none are there anymore.....
 
The Paradigm was temporarily discontinued during 2015. According to my sources, you may expect its return in the 2017 Buck Knives catalog.
 
Yes good to know.....I was searching out the special runs when I read this thread...AG Russel has an interesting one.....
 
I hope if they do return next year, they add one like the AG Russel one...polished blade and white micarta handle....looks nice! I wish they offered these in the custom shop before they discontinued them....
 
I too would like to see them change this one up a bit. I've got the standard model in both steels but it would be nice if it comes back into the line-up with some additional steel choices and or scale options.
