Paragon kiln w/ argon bleed or no Ar bleed

Being new to forging high carbon steel, would like your input as wether to put an argon bleed into my new Paragon KM furnace or not. Been looking at saly pots, furnaces, furnaces with inert gas bleed, so I called Ed Fowler, he said the gas bleed is not necessary, nor is the stainless steel foil for high carbon. Need more input, before I invest.

I don't have a great deal of input for you but I will say that the Paragon oven I have is terrific. Get one with a computer controller and you will be loving life. :) Mine is the K14 I believe and it really works well.
