I have noticed after normal use the g10 on the PM2 is starting to lose its grippy feel slightly compared to when it was new. I'm assuming this is normal due to dirt and the oil from my skin? What do you do to remedy this?

I've considered cleaning the scales but I'm not sure if that's an option I want to fiddle with being it voids the Spyderco warranty.

Scrub the scales with an old toothbrush, dish soap and hot water. That won't void your warranty and should help out. While you're at it you can clean out the pivot area as well. Just make sure you blow out all of the excess water and re-lube if you want.

It's normal to have a G10 handled knife smooth out over time. New textured G10 has sharp peaks on the surface and they dull with abrasion from gripping, pocket wear, laying the knife down on hard surfaces. Dirt can also accelerate this while filling in the small valleys.

Second! Works like magic
