Paramilitary 2 for lefties???

It works as-is pretty well in the left hand. I'm right handed and have carried, used, and closed the knife with zero issues with the left. It's actually easier to close because you press your thumb on the lock rather than the index finger. Just move the clip and your set.

Interesting. For me, it feels better when I close my Para 2 with my index finger. For some reason, most likely lack of practice, it just feels wrong when I close my Para 2 left handed. But I don't feel like the function is affected in anyway. I was actually considering carrying the Para in my left front pocket with my Millie in the front right pocket.

As long as you are equipped with an opposable thumb on your left hand you are good to go. Just depress the compression lock with your thumb.

Works great either way. Actually i think it works better in the left hand. If they made a lefty model I'd buy it to use right handed as I would prefer using my thumb.

There's a lefty G10 version available at a an online retailer. Not sure if they're a supporter of the forum so I'll just say that it's a center that sells knives.

Edit: I stand corrected. It's actually a Military I saw; not a para.

I'm righty but carry my Paramilitary 2 left-handed in left front pocket (strong side hand for pistol).

With a little practice the para2 does just fine left-handed although it seems to be designed primarily for right hand use.
