Paramilitary 2 in Maxamet- how often produced?

Somewhat new to Spyderco and really love the PM2 and would like to obtain and carry a Maxamet version of this knife! Everyone is out of stock, and I mean EVERYONE. It appears that the last factory drop of this knife to distributors was December 2021. I've checked with dozens of shops, no luck.. unless I want to pay $360 for one lol.

Is there any way to know when the next batch will be shipping out? Is there a normal production schedule or normalcy to product releases, IE, every 6 months they do a batch or anything like that?

No. The production queue is backlogged, they make them whenever they can, no one (not even Sal) knows when the next batch will ship, and from what I've seen at the Seconds Sales, they have a high QC fail rate, so even if they make them there may not be any sellable.

You can always post a thread in the WTB forum stating what you’re looking for. I’m sure a member will have what you’re looking for.
Even though it’s not necessary, buying a membership will give you the ability to have private messages. Some folks don’t like posting their information on an open forum.

Thanks for the info. This is the ONE knife I want right now and they are no where to be found. I'll just wait it out for production, I prefer buying NIB when buying "higher end" metal like this.
 
Looks like new graham has some. Seems to be a reputable retailer. I’m not affiliated at all, just trying to help.
 
I don't know who that is and I've googled it and can't find one? But I appreciate the effort!
 
I don’t want to link it because it may be against forum rules. New Graham Knives is a retailer. I can’t imagine it won’t come up in a google search. I hope you find what you are looking for.

You might be able to get a NIB from a member here. Sometimes people buy multiples and are willing to sell one.
 
I believe maxamet is unique in that it’s tough to machine and doesn’t sell as well as the base model. Companies go where the money is… and that’s going to be s30v black/digi camo G10.

If you’re patient, one will pop up eventually.. somewhere.
 
I just bought one recently from a retailer and I just checked and they have more. PM and I can give you the link as they are not forum sponsors. Price isn’t bad but is more than sticker when they were released.
 
I have a brand new one I’ve never carried if anyone is still looking. We can work out a price we’re both happy with.
